My name is Corrie. My interest in providing Biblical resources for the Deaf Community is something that has been on my heart for a while. I am a Born Again Christian; a new creature in Christ for many years, but it was during my time at college that the Lord really showed me that I needed to start living a life set apart for Him. My desire is to Glorify God in whatever He wants me to do.I am a certified interpreter both in Texas (BEI level 1) and Arizona (EIPA 3.9). I am working towards passing the NIC. I attended SouthWest Collegiate Institute for the Deaf in Big Spring, Texas. I graduated with an Associates Degree in Interpreting. I attend Calvary Chapel Tri-City in Tempe, Arizona.“Deaf For Jesus” is a video blog ministry to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing in their Cultural Language, American Sign Language. My prayer is that these messages from Bible preaching teachers will give the much needed “Spiritual Food” to the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Community.

Glad to hear of your Love for the Lord !
I do not know of any Deaf Churches in Staten Island, NY.
If I do find any I will be sure to post them on Deaf For Jesus. You might try and contact the Deaf Commission in your area they might have more information.
